We are looking for support workers in CBD area AND Ashbury Adon care is a NDIS Disability Services provider operating across CBD and Western Sydney and is urgently hiring casual support workers for our clients living all across Sydney. Adon care provides flexible and consistent rostered hours every week. This position will see you providing practical, physical, and emotional support to people with disabilities in a Home or Community setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to impact and empower people to maximise their independence positively. It allows you to work with a range of participants, which will enhance your knowledge and level of expertise. Qualifications and Compliances:
Minimum Certificate 3 or 4 in Disability, Aged Care, Community Services or Mental Health or other relevant qualifications will be desirable but not essential.
NDIS worker's screening check is a must before the commencement.

Experience and Skills:
Passion for learning and compassion towards people with disability
Experience with challenging behaviours and complex trauma will be highly regarded.
Able to work with limited supervision and in a team environment.
Demonstrated safe work practices.
Availability of minimum 3-4 shifts per week
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders.
Understanding of restrictive practices will be highly regarded.
understanding of mobility supports, Hoists.
Good verbal and written English
About you To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to have demonstrated experience providing support to participants with complex physical needs and have the following skills and attributes:
Experience with high physical needs!
Clear and effective communication skills and ability to establish a professional relationship with participant and their families
Experience in Epilepsy
Flexibility to work rosters and the availability to work overnight shifts or attend training or meetings as required.
Experienced with high physical/medical support and personal care.
Attention to detail and accuracy in the record management.
Domestic cleaning
