About the role: We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed person to join the Building Services team as a Support Officer – Building Services, based in our Leederville office. This is an entry level opportunity where you’ll provide administrative and general support services in reviewing and processing building and service connection applications. Who are we? You’ve completed year 12 (or year 10 in some cases)
You’ll have relevant experience working or volunteering in an administrative or customer-oriented role
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Computing skills with some experience of MS Office
Ability to work as part of a team or independently under direction
Demonstrates the values and behaviours that contribute to a constructive, high-performance culture.
About the role:
Processes applications as required in accordance with established frameworks, escalating where necessary, to maintain efficient processing
Provides general advice as per established procedures to customer enquiries, escalating where necessary, to ensure customer satisfaction
Performs various word processing functions such as data entry, maintaining and updating databases, sending/responding to emails and scanning documents.
Performs various tasks under direction and supervision, which are particular to the Business Unit, and which could reasonably be expected to be associated with the position
