Come join the Sterilisation Services team as a Sterilisation Services Attendant! About the Role: Reporting to the Nurse Manager, as the Sterilisation Services Attendant, you will be responsible for a high standard of work, providing a timely efficient and effective service associated with the reprocessing of reusable medical devices. Duties in this role include:
Sorting, decontaminating, inspecting and packing of reusable medical devices prior to disinfection/sterilisation.
Utilisation of manual/mechanical methods to decontaminate reusable medical devices.
Inspection of reusable medical devices to ensure devices are clean and functioning correctly.
Packaging and labelling of single and trays of reusable medical devices.
Utilisation of High-Level Disinfection/sterilisation of reusable medical devices utilising steam or low temperature sterilisation.
About you: To be successful in this role, you will have:
Experience working as an individual or as a team member in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
The ability to interpret complex instructions and procedures.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to cooperate with staff at all levels.
Sound literacy and numeracy skills
