About the Role
BOQ Group is seeking an experienced Operational Resilience Risk Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance, oversight and constructive challenge on Operational Resilience risks to ensure we achieve our customer-centric business outcomes.
Your key duties will include developing, maintaining and testing the Business Continuity Management (BCM) Framework incompliance with regulatory obligations for the Group. The Risk Partner will be responsible for providing thought-leadership on Operational Resilience management, which covers the ability to anticipate, withstand, and recover from shocks and changes in the business environment to continue operations and achieve strategic goals. This will be achieved through a focus on:
Policy life cycle
Key stakeholder engagement
Development and continuous improvement, Operational Risk Frameworks
Compliance to BCM Policy and Frameworks
About you
The ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification in a related field such as Commerce, Business, Finance, Accounting, or Risk Management. You should have experience in a similar or related field, with a deep understanding of Business Continuity principles, processes, and procedures. Strong analytical skills and experience in conducting risk and scenario assessments are essential.
Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills are required to work effectively with all levels of BOQ Group, often with limited supervision. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards related to operational resilience is necessary. You should have extensive experience partnering with business functions and working collaboratively across the three lines of defence to enhance operational resilience capabilities. Additionally, you must have a proven ability to develop and implement operational resilience policies to enable objective challenge. About Us
