Job Description
We are ready to welcome a Reservations Sales Agent to our guest obsessed team in this influential role. Reporting to the Rooms Division Manager, you will play a pivotal role and deliver flawless customer service at every part of their journey.
Responsibilities include:
Handle incoming reservation inquires via phone, email and online channels
Assist guests in selecting appropriate accommodations based on their needs and preferences
Process reservations accurately and efficiently in our reservations system
Provide information about the hotel facilities, services, and policies to guests
Handle special requests and accommodate guest preferences whenever possible
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room availability, rates, and promotions
Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise
Qualifications
You will have:
working experience in a similar role (front office / reservations within premium segment in hotels is preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in computer systems and reservation software
a proven record of accurate reporting, while working within time constrains
Ability to work part time, but adjust to a flexible roster (mostly Monday - Friday, however some weekend work may be required from time to time)
an good understanding of reservations processes
the ability to think creatively and be a proactive self-starter
knowledge of the Adelaide market is advantageous
experience working with Opera Cloud and Resaweb is preferred
