Description: All about your role:
Cater Care Services are seeking dynamic and experienced hospitality leaders for Catering/Relief Managers at our remote mining villages throughout Queensland.This is a FIFO from Brisbane or DIDO from Rockhampton position, based on 14/7 roster.Your duties will involve providing management of the daily catering requirements of the village, ensuring effective management in the areas of:
Food Production
Menu Planning and Daily Production
Dining Room Services
Safety, Health and Environment
Customer Service
Staff Supervision
Compliance
Administration and Operation Margins
Client Relationship Management
Liaising with the Site Manager
Skills and Experiences: All about you:
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
Exceptional administrative and computer/ software skills
Accommodation reservations systems experience (VAMS, SAMS, RMS)
Stable & progressive management experience within a remote environment
A commitment to genuine, friendly customer service
A motivated, constructive and professional ‘can-do’ attitude
Resourcefulness, resilience and enthusiasm
Adherence to food & general safety practices
Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
Physically fit and able to work long hours with repetitive tasks
Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
Ability to work in varying degrees of heat, cold, humidity & inclement weather
A manual drivers’ license (preferred) and forklift ticket (highly desirable)
