Program Quality & Assurance Officer (HEO 6)

  • Open to Australian Aboriginal Peoples and Uni SA employees only
  • Full time, continuing position based in Uni SA Business at the City West campus
  • Salary: $87,955 - $96,696 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)


About the Role

Reporting to the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Manager, you will support the development and implementation of a best-practice quality improvement framework, with the goal to have Uni SA’s programs in the top 100 in the world. You will coordinate a more strategic and targeted approach to accreditation, ratings and rankings. This includes oversight of internal program monitoring and review, management of the ‘Enterprise Skills’ (Assurance of Learning) framework and external professional / international program accreditations.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field?or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and skills
  • Knowledge of accreditation and quality standards and an understanding of the University sector, including academic and administration policy and processes
  • Experience in the use of Business Intelligence tools and in the collection, validation, analysis, interpretation and communication of relevant data and information
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills, including the ability to be innovative and creative in providing advice and generating solutions and process improvement
  • High level organisational and administrative skills, with quality focus and high attention to detail, preferably with experience in project management
  • Excellent oral communication and negotiation skills, including a demonstrated ability to successfully develop constructive professional relationships, and positively interact with a range of audiences both internal and external to the University
  • Demonstrated commitment to a customer service culture and to working collaboratively in a team-based work environment
