Due to a large enterprise transformation project, we have an opportunity for an experienced Procurement Manager with exceptional communication skills to join our Procurement Team and be part of the large broader Finance Team.
Working independently with team support, you will be responsible for providing specialist procurement operational management. Your exceptional communication skills together with your proactive and diligent approach, will support your success.
Your role will include;
- Managing allocated Categories procured by Catholic Healthcare
- Develop, implement and maintain procurement strategies for allocated categories with relevant Stakeholders
- Investigate and recommend opportunities for implementation of group wide contracts for goods and services to reduce cost and improve consistency/ quality
- Provide financial & cost benefit analysis for established category plans and to support Procurement Budget/ Forecast
- Enforce procurement policies to ensure appropriate business controls,
- Mitigate risks and manage supplier performance to support organisational objectives
- Act as ‘Category Lead’ to Senior Management regarding key category spend, strategic planning, Source to Pay software as well as procurement policies and procedures
- Develop partnerships with key Stakeholders (clients and suppliers)
The ideal applicant will thrive in a fast-paced environment and have highly developed prioritising, time management and negotiating skills, attention to detail and in-depth knowledge of procurement and business improvement processes, in addition to the following;
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the procurement, purchasing and supply function of an organisation with experience in healthcare or related industries highly valued
- Demonstrated expertise in:
- Property Services & Facilities Management
- Utilities especially large site Electricity and solar panels
- Allied Health services for community services
- Fleet services especially grey fleet, coach hire and other RAC Residential Transport Network solutions
- ESG initiatives from a RAC Healthcare perspective including for Modern Slavery
- Travel Saa S solutions
- Medical consumables and equipment
- Experience of onboarding and implementation of Supplier & Contract Management Systems
- Proven experience in negotiating and finalising group wide tenders and contracts
- Project Management experience in ensuring projects and initiative plans are successfully coordinated, enacted as planned to achieve desired results
- Software Proficiency using Microsoft Office and Basware, Medius (or similar S2P software)
- Willingness to obtain a Police Check
