THE ROLE:
We are seeking a Corporate Procurement Officer to join our team. You will be responsible for assisting with the procurement of goods and services for our company.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with identifying potential suppliers and vendors across the projects and upcoming tenders.
- Getting quotations from the market and raising Purchase Orders in accordance with Martinus procedure.
- Help negotiate prices and terms of general framework agreements.
- Collaborate with department heads to determine procurement needs.
- Conduct market research to stay up to date on industry trends.
- Prepare purchase orders and review invoices for accuracy.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the rail or transportation industry.
- Demonstrated experience on large-scale construction projects – specific to logistics and/or materials control.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- A commitment to safety and compliance with industry regulations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
