Key Responsibilities- Foster relationships with stakeholders across Queensland Government, State/Territory and Commonwealth Governments, non-government organisations, businesses, and the community to guide action and collaboration on prevention and reform initiatives.- Proactively identify opportunities for improving system responses to violence against women and lead and influence change across the service system.- Liaise, consult, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and deliver programs, initiatives, events, and evaluations.- Lead the development of high-quality communication materials.- Lead the planning, coordination, and promotion of events and campaigns in partnership with key stakeholders.- Provide clear and accurate advice about opportunities, risks, issues, and challenges relating to programs and initiatives being delivered by the business unit.- Use evidence and findings from consultation and research to identify systemic needs and opportunities and develop approaches to better meet system needs.- Coordinate and/or prepare complex briefings, memoranda, reports, and correspondence on a wide range of subjects, including confidential and sensitive matters.
Technical skills, abilities and cultural capability- Strong knowledge of domestic, family, and sexual violence and the gendered drivers of violence.- Works independently, follows through on assignments with minimal direction, and completes work on multiple projects simultaneously.- Establishes and maintains co-operative working relationships with co-workers, stakeholders, and the public.- Listens perceptively and conveys awareness.- Negotiates or exchanges ideas, information, and opinions with others to formulate policies and programs and/or arrive jointly at decisions, conclusions, or solutions.- Contributes to workplace equity, diversity, respect, and inclusion that enriches our culture of respect and inclusion.
