About the opportunity:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate leader and Primary teacher to work on an ongoing full-time basis to start Term 1, 2025. We are currently seeking a dynamic and energetic teacher with the relevant NESA accreditation. This is a fantastic opportunity to create engaging and creative learning environments in a supportive and fulfilling community.
More specifically you will:

Have a deep knowledge on how to structure lessons to meet the physical, social and intellectual development and characteristics of students. Strong teachers have extensive knowledge of the content and sequence of Key Learning Areas, including Religious Education.

Operate effectively at all stages of the teaching and learning cycle, including planning for learning and assessment, developing learning programs, teaching, assessing, providing feedback on student learning and reporting to parents/carers.

Model agreed practice to support students at the point of need using data and research-informed practice in literacy and numeracy.

Analyses and uses data to assist teachers in understanding student and teacher learning needs.

Leads and informs the professional learning in order to build the capacity of all staff to improve student learning in literacy and numeracy.

Able to create and maintain safe, inclusive and challenging learning environments and implement fair and equitable behaviour management plans.

Contributes to a culture of collaboration and shared responsibility across the school.
Essential Qualifications and Accreditations:

Tertiary Qualification in Education (minimum 4-year degree)

Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)

Baptised Catholic and willingness to complete RE Certificate to gain Religious Education Accreditation

Valid Working with Children Check (for employment purposes)
