The role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Practice Administrator to join our Workplace Relations, Employment & Safety team in Canberra. We will be considering both part time & full time candidates with some flexibility to WFH and around school hours.
Take your administration career to the next level by joining our market leading WRES practice in Canberra. Working for partner Jen Wyborn and her lawyers, you will be an instrumental part of the team and provide crucial administrative support services.
Key responsibilities
In this varied and fast-paced role, you will be responsible for:
- Administrative support to a Partners and wider team;
- Drafting, reviewing and preparing correspondence / documentation;
- File management;
- Managing telephones, electronic diaries and voicemail for team members;
- Organising meetings, calendar management and travel bookings;
- Manipulation of complex documents; and
- General accounts, reporting and monthly billing.
Skills & Experience
We are looking for a pro-active administrator with;
- Broad PA/EA/legal secretarial experience. A background in in professional services working with Partners or C -level executives would be advantageous, although not essential.
- Strong technical skills (MS Word, document management system, typing);
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to problem solve and use appropriate judgement
- A highly professional approach to your responsibilities and a drive to improve processes;
- A flexible and proactive approach to supporting the needs of the Partners;
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively with various stakeholders.
