About the role
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Registered Nurse with a strong interest in education to join our Learning and Development team, providing training and support to the Perioperative department. The successful candidate will have expertise in Anesthetics and recovery, contributing to the ongoing development of the Perioperative team. This is a Level 2 position, reporting directly to the Clinical Educator (Level 3).
Your main duties will include:
Supporting staff in applying knowledge and skills, bridging theory with practice, and contribute to a positive feedback culture.
Assist the delivery of mandatory training and education sessions in areas of your expertise.
Tracking and reporting training through the learning management system to maintain accurate staff records.
About you
A current registration with AHPRA
Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience as an RN in an anaesthetic / recovery role
Clinical teaching experience including facilitation and/or supervision of students and graduates
Clear understanding and ability to demonstrate ACORN, NSQHS and other relevant standards
Enthusiastically passionate in the delivery of high-quality standards of care
Be prepared to actively participate in the training and orientation of staff
Good communication skills- verbal and written and an open and engaging disposition
Working knowledge of Microsoft suite
