About the role
Due to business growth, we are now excited to offer a permanent full-time position as a Parts Supervisor at our Port Lincoln Branch. This role is responsible for sales for the entire branch including managing the daily operations, achieving the required targets in sales, gross and operating margins and meeting key performance targets. By supervising a small team, you will enable the branch to achieve targets in sales, gross and operating margins as well as other KPI such as Inventory management.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervision of the Port Lincoln Branch and associated functions within, including coordination with staff and other departments in the business
- Build and maintain a sound client base promoting high levels of service and commitment to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
- Analyse market potential for all the parts department services and assist in the establishment of specific marketing and merchandising programs for parts inventory to achieve sales and profit targets.
- Oversee and maintain with maximum accuracy all clerical functions with the parts divisions, including the receipting of stock, back orders, and accounts payable.
- Coordinate the annual stocktake of the branch
- Maintain and update CRM database for all customers
- Prospect and monitor new business opportunities with new and existing clients and upsell where possible
- Provide clients with information regarding pricing, delivery dates, parts pricing, lead times etc.
- Assist customer with quotations and tenders where necessary and Interpret customer orders when required.
About You
- Supervisory / leadership experience in a similar environment
- Knowledge of the motor industry and or parts inventory
- Parts Interpreter certification highly regarded
- Automotive Trade Certificate desirable
- Good computer and administration skills
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Commercial acumen
- Current drivers and HR/HC Licences
