We are currently seeking an energetic and proactive Parts Coordinator to join the Maintenance Team at Premier Coal.
About the Role
Reporting to the Planning & Reliability Superintendent, the Parts Coordinator is an integral part of Maintenance execution and is the glue between our Planning, Warehouse and Maintenance teams.
This role is for a positive and optimistic attitude and able to work cooperatively within a team environment, the main duties of this role includes but not limited to are:
Coordination with planners and warehouse personnel in the preparation of parts requirements for planned maintenance activities
Ensure parts and components returned to warehouse are cleaned and tagged
Inspection and verification of all parts (including kit contents) required for planned work
Supervise and coordinate timely follow up and administration with Warehouse of spare parts post-shutdown, i.e. returning excess spare parts to Warehouse
Respond to enquiries in a courteous and helpful manner, promoting Site as an efficient and considerate organisation
Carry out prestart inspections on forklifts daily and perform all other machine site inspections as required.
Maintain staging areas to a high standard
Assist team members as workload demands within the department
Fulltime, Monday-Friday
About You
Key skills and experience that will see you succeed in the role:
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Experienced in an ERP system such as SAP and MS Outlook, Office etc.
Cooperative attitude and ability to build a strong rapport with staff and clients
Strong organisational skills, to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities within set deadlines
Ability to 'think on your feet' and be pro-active
Must be dependable, adaptable, enthusiastic and enjoy variety of jobs
Hold a current WA drivers licence
Hold a current Forklift Licence (or willing to obtain)
