Start Date: Mid-November or earlier
Working Hours: 18-20 hrs p/w
Days: Friday and any one day of Tuesday to Thursday
Children: G3 and B1
Pay: from $35 ph (negotiable)
* Nanny Immunisation: Standard immunisations
* Driving required, car provided, street parking and will arrange a pass
* Pet in the household, no duties applied
Our active, easygoing, and outdoorsy Manly family is seeking a reliable, attentive, nurturing, and bubbly nanny who can connect with the children, keep them engaged, and be responsive to their needs. Both parents work a hybrid schedule and are flexible in arranging their days. Typically, they go to the office on Fridays, and both children will be at home. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with children of similar ages be friendly, easygoing, and willing to collaborate for a flexible and positive outcome.
The nanny's responsibilities will include helping the family maintain and organize the home. One day between Tuesday and Thursday will be dedicated to house duties such as grocery shopping (if not done by the family), doing laundry, batch-cooking meals for the children for the week, tidying up the kitchen and play areas, assisting with dinner prep, and helping with the bedtime routine.
On Fridays, the nanny will take full responsibility for the children’s care, managing breakfast, playtime, an outing to the playground, and preparing lunch, followed by cleaning up. After settling the younger child for a nap, the nanny will continue engaging with the oldest. The nanny will also defrost dinner, oversee afternoon naps, and handle dinner preparation.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a beautiful environment near the beach, with open communication and trust being key elements of the relationship between the nanny and the family.

- Daycare drop-off and pickup
- Organizing and planning creative and educational activities
- Building a strong relationship with the family
- Ensuring a safe and hygienic environment
- Collaborating with parents to support the children’s growth and social development
- Maintaining all aspects of the care routine for the children
- Managing household chores / multitasking efficiently
- Cook and prepare meals for the children
- A full valid driver’s license (car provided)
- Non-Smoker
- A minimum of 3+ years of full-time experience working with children in Australia
- A minimum of 2 Australian-based child-related references
- Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain ASAP)
- Current First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain ASAP)
- Current National Criminal Record Check (or willing to obtain ASAP)
- Excellent communication skills
Pay: From $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 20 per week
Schedule:
