The Role
Mount Isa Mines are currently advertising an opportunity that exists for the role of Met Plant Attendant. Reporting to the Supervisor- Copper Concentrator, your primary responsibility involves you to contribute to the safe production of Copper Concentrator to the standard required using a comprehensive range of operating skills.
This position is residentially based in Mount Isa. The work roster is 7 Days, 7 Off, 7 Nights, 7 Off

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Operational areas including fill plants, tailings processing, concentrate filtering as well as grinding and flotation assets.
- Working closely with Maintenance and Metallurgical teams to ensure that set targets are met, and that the operation runs efficiently.
- Develop and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Self-motivated and flexible with a high standard of work
- A pro-active approach to safety and continuous improvement
- Sound Communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a small team.
- A current Australian manual driver’s license
- Milling and Flotation experience is essential.
- Control room experience will be highly regarded.
