About the role
We are looking for an Operations Manager – Retail to join the growing team on a Permanent Full Time basis
The Operations Manager – Retail will support our Retail Asset Managers in managing a portfolio of Shopping Centres in line with client requirements. With the backing of the Elders network, you will be provided with the tools necessary and be supported to learn and grow your career.
Responsibilities
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for;
- Day to day management of all matters relating to property operations, safety, risk and compliance
- Ensuring a Planned Preventative Maintenance Programme is established and managed appropriately
- Being the primary contact for technical and maintenance advice
- Ensuring all relevant statutory requirements are appropriately addressed
- Managing tenant relationships in regard to operational issues and satisfaction
- Managing capital and operational expense administration including budget preparation and forecasting
About you
To succeed at Elders, you will have:
- a Property Representative licence or ability to attain one in the near future
- Tertiary qualifications (degree or diploma) in Facilities Management or other property related course e.g. Project Management, Construction or
- Trade qualification in electrical, mechanical engineering or plumbing or significant work experience and demonstrated success in a similar role or related industry
- General knowledge of WHS legislation, principles and practices
- General understanding of key building services
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent business writing and oral communication skills
- a current drivers licence
