Operations Handling Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Handling Specialist that has recently become available. This role is in our Logistics Team in our Sydney (Matraville) office.

Overall Role Purpose

Undertakes full range of duties under limited supervision. Will have clearly defined procedures in the movement and administration of goods in warehouses
Achievement oriented
Successfully delivering on both target and high customer satisfaction measures
Load and unload trucks quickly and safely ensuring safe and storage of freight until it leaves our facility
Building of export units for transfer overseas including Life Science shipments
Report all irregularities, tampering or damage to freight
ULD coding and returns to airport
Responsible for clean and safe warehouse
Present a courteous attitude to staff, customs and couriers
Additional tasks as instructed by Department Manager/Supervisor
Actively comply with the company's occupational health and safety rules

Good written and spoken English
MS Office applications
Inter-personal skills
Clear and concise communication skills

Ability to manage multiple accounts,

Able to work on own initiative and to take responsibility and ownership of initiatives
