Position Overview:
We are looking for a Business Development Manager, based in Liverpool NSW covering the NSW region who is eager to succeed and capable of navigating a diverse industrial market with resilience and a customer-oriented approach. In this role, you will be responsible for selling energy and communication cables and associated accessories directly to asset owners, EPCs, and major projects across New South Wales.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute business development strategies, in consultation with the Channel Manager to expand our market presence in industrial projects and renewable energy.

Lead Tender process and Commercial negotiations for Strategic Projects.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities with blue-chip customers and major projects in the oil and gas, road and rail infrastructure, renewable energy, and OEM market segments.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.

Prepare and present proposals, negotiations, and contract discussions.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project delivery aligns with client expectations and company standards.

Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to inform business strategy.
Qualifications & what you need to be successful:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.

Proven experience in business development, particularly within the industrial projects or renewable energy sectors.

Strong understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and regulatory environments.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Proven history of success in business development roles growing new and existing business.

Preferably has demonstrated experience within the Industrial market segments or with Tier One EPC’s, but not essential.
A passion for sustainable energy solutions and a commitment to environmental stewardship.
This is a dynamic role with a large amount of autonomy to make decisions within certain guidelines. You will have daily, monthly and annual volume and margin KPI's set and your success within the business is measured against these targets. The successful candidate will have the ability to make quick decisions, do a deal, are self-driven to success & cope with a high paced job where they are not always in control of the workload.
