The Role We are looking for Maintenance Technicians, to join our growing team and the opportunity to build a career. You will work with a team of skilled Security technicians across a broad spectrum of sites. The team work on developing, installing and servicing solutions for electronic security by integrating access control, intruder detection, CCTV systems. You will use a variety of commercial security systems including Gallagher, Inner Range, Tecom as well as a range of CCTV systems. Salary offered for this position: $30 - $42 per hour (plus Superannuation) negotiable and dependent on skills and experience. Duties:
Installation, servicing and commissioning of alarm systems, CCTV systems, access control and intercom systems.
Installation & repair of Access Control Systems
Installation & repair of CCTV systems
Fault finding
Experience & Skills:
At least 2 years of employment in the related occupation
Understanding of basic electrical / electronics – certification would be an advantage however not essential
Experience working in a Technical Trade such as an Electrician, AV Communications, Fire System installation etc would be highly regarded
Excellent communication, organisation and customer service skills (polite and presentable)
Experience with Security, Access Control and CCTV systems
Good computer skills and attention to detail
Qualifications:
An Australian cablers licence would be highly regarded
Australian or equivalent Qualifications such as Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, Diploma or Certificate level in Telecommunications, Communications or Security would be highly regarded
NV1 security clearance would be advantageous
A Current Australian driver’s licence is essential
