Maintenance Manager

Wonderful opportunity for a Maintenance Manager to work with a great family business, in one of Australia’s beautiful locations in the Kimberley!
Hotel Kununurra located in the stunning Kimberley region of North-west Western Australia is currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Maintenance Manager.
Our venue consists of 45 hotel rooms with 3 different accommodation categories. The property in the center of town is comprised of two bars, family restaurant and a drive through Bottleshop.
This position includes a range of general gardening services around the venue, ensuring that the grounds are beautifully presented. Duties will also include pool and irrigation maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct maintenance in a safe manner, for the individual, guests, employees and the property at all times
Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions in property infrastructure and other hotel equipment
Conducting ongoing preventative maintenance programs in work and accommodation areas, maintaining log books of maintenance performed
Reviewing maintenance problems, complaints and work orders to prioritise and schedule work
Troubleshooting and diagnosing malfunctioning mechanical systems and equipment
Inspecting property to identify potential and current needs
Estimating department expenditures for budget purposes and assisting with the capital budget process
Supervise all maintenance staff to get the best performance for the benefit of the property and a safe working environment

The following qualification(s) or equivalent experience will be highly regarded:

Must be physically fit and enjoy the outdoor work associated with this role.
Work well within a team environment or autonomously as required.
Driver’s licence.
Horticultural knowledge (relevant to the area).
Previous experience in maintenance.
