Come join the team, based onsite at Stockland Halcyon “Rise” located in Logan Reserve. As the construction workload continues to increase, the team need a Leading Hand, helping to get homes ready for quality assurance inspections and new homeowner visits.
About the role

Reporting to the Senior Leading Hand and Site Supervisor, this is a permanent, full-time position, Monday – Friday, 6.30am – 3.00pm
Key responsibilities include:
- Getting houses ready for quality inspections
- Completing any scope gap jobs from other trades in preparation for client handover
- QA inspections on homes and making list to be sent out to trades and contractors
- Organising materials from delivery and allocating where they should be
- Liaising with contractors onsite
- House/site clean ups
About you
- Construction site experience or similar, working as a Leading Hand or experienced Labourer
- A trade certificate in any of the following such as Carpentry, Plumber or any other services trade preferable but not essential
- Must hold a current white card
- Hold a current First Aid Certificate or a refresher can be arranged
- Have your own PPE – steel caps and high-vis and if you have your own tools but can be provided if not
- Current drivers licence and reliable transport to get to/from work, and if you hold any other licences such as Forklift or Bobcat ideal but not essential
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team
