About the Role:
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand to join our dynamic kitchen team at The Campbell Hotel. As a Kitchen Hand, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen, ensuring smooth operations and contributing to the overall success of our pub. The ideal candidate is available to work on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist chefs and kitchen staff in food preparation and basic cooking tasks.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
Support the kitchen team in receiving and storing deliveries.
Dispose of waste and keep trash areas clean and organised.
Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food preparation.
Skills and Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is desirable but not essential.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding kitchen setting.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently under pressure.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt.
