Develop your hospitality skills and embrace a unique environment in a Kitchen Hand position, integral to providing support to the catering team at ADFA (Canberra). Join the team and receive full training and support while working with a dynamic environment.
The Position:
Candidates will be required to undertake an Australian national police check. This will be paid for by the Company.
The Position:
- Part time position – must be available nights and weekends.
- Assist with basic preparation including vegetables and salads.
- Stock control including quality reporting and temperature monitoring.
- Maintain kitchen, food preparation, storage and service areas and equipment to a high standard with a strong awareness of hygiene and food safety standards.
- Hospitality experience beneficial.
- Knife handling, food safety and preparation skills are a plus.
- Highly organised and self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously.
- Attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
- Can do attitude and drive to jump into any task required.
