About the Role:
Create memorable moments and amazing experiences for our guests as a Bartender at The Pier Hotel! You will bring with you a good understanding of beverages across the board, the confidence to make suggestions and upsell to guests and a passion for amplifying the guest’s experience. Seeking individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service in a dynamic and vibrant environment, and who thrive in a fast-paced setting where every day brings new challenges and opportunities. We are looking for a candidate who is occasionally able to work cellar shifts, so any experience in this area is preferred!
RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages including cocktails and/or mocktails
Work with a large range of local and imported wines, spirts and craft beers
Upsell and Suggestive sell
Restock and replenish bar inventory supplies
Provide a personalised, exceptional standard of service
Ensure safe and responsible service of alcohol
Handling guest inquiries, feedback, and resolving any issues that may arise promptly and professionally.
Receiving deliveries and monitoring inventory levels, collaborating with management to maintain stock and supplies.

ABOUT YOU

1 years experience in a similar role is preferred
Extensive beverage knowledge
You ooze personality and are attentive to guests needs!
A valid RSA and RCG
The ability to work in a fast paced environment with high volumes of customers
The ability to work effectively in a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make decisions under pressure.
