We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager who will manage all day to day operations of a portfolio of sites. Be responsible for strengthening and building relationships with our clients to ensure contract longevity. Lead and motivate their team to ensure they are delivering on "Westralian's Values and Vision". The role would be highly suited to a person with previous experience in the sector, has a strong customer satisfaction focus and eye for detail. Job tasks and responsibilities Reporting to the Operations Manager, your role will include:
Client Management - Building relationships with clients, site visits to discuss performance of cleaning teams, take ownership of client issues and solve problems in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
People Management - Managing supervisors and staff in the cleaning of commercial properties to contract requirements, conduct site inspections, conduct training and complete reports, manage quality and provide feedback to staff, clients, Operations Manager and manage client requests.
Financial - Be responsible for all operational costs on your site, including management of sick leave, annual leave etc. Accurately authorise, allocate and record staff time sheets and absences using the rostering system. Ensure your sites are using consumables at the correct rates. Ensure a timely stock re-ordering process is in place for all sites
OHS - Monitor your portfolio to ensure a safe workplace. Ensure that OHS policies and procedures are adhered to. Ensure all training activities and materials meet with relevant organisational and statutory policies, including health and safety. Lead and manage incident investigations and communicate outcomes to employees
Skills and experience We are seeking a professional candidate that meets the following criteria:
Prior experience in commercial cleaning is preferable but not necessary.
Previous experience in multi-site management & supervision.
Proven ability in managing client expectations against contractual obligations
Experienced in managing teams and staff
Strong leadership qualities
A high customer service focus, strong relationship management, negotiation and problem-solving skills
High organisational, time management and multi-tasking skills to meet deadlines as well as the ability to remain flexible to go to site on varying shifts if necessary
Proven account management experience
