About the role The ICT System Support Officer is responsible for hardware installation, application support and providing general IT support to CCNT staff. The position assists the IT Department with setting up hardware for new starters, providing support with applications, conducting IT equipment maintenance to ensure proper functioning of all CCNT IT desktops and IT mobile fleet. The position will have responsibility to investigate and resolve IT tickets, maintain CCNT Asset register/s, when required liaise with external providers to ensure smooth operation of IT systems, and provide IT training to staff on using IT equipment. The position will also conduct IT inductions for staff based in CCNT Top End sites including Darwin, Katherine, Daly River, Tiwi Islands, Jabiru and Wadeye. What we are looking for:
Relevant qualification in IT, at least Cert IV in Information Technology.
Experience in relevant industry.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with stakeholders, both internal and external and across all levels of the organisation.
Demonstrated cultural competency, particularly in working with Indigenous people
Exceptional time management skills which include multitasking and meeting deadlines
