Human Resources Business Partner
- Key Human Resources role at Australia’s largest private healthcare provider
- Part-time position, four days per week (12 month parental leave position)
- Based in Greenslopes, close proximity to Brisbane
Ramsay are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join the team at Greenslopes Private Hospital, one of the largest Ramsay hospitals with a workforce of approximately 2,500. In this role, you will work directly with hospital leaders, providing expert support in employee relations, performance management, succession planning, culture change, and recruitment. You will be a crucial part of our HR team, delivering both strategic and day-to-day HR support efficiently. The HRBP position reports to the Human Resources Manager, Greenslopes Private Hospital and part of the National People Team.
What You’ll Do
- Provide expert industrial and employee relations advice, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, agreements, and policies to minimise industrial disputes.
- Participate in state and national projects as needed.
- Support leaders in their development by offering advice, coaching, and feedback on people management and leadership.
- Conduct workplace investigations and manage complex cases, offering recommendations to manage and mitigate risk.
- Contribute to and implement the organisation’s HR strategic plans and objectives in alignment with industrial instruments.
- Collaborate with leaders to support and drive cultural change and engagement initiatives.
- Experience in HR generalist functions, including industrial relations, employee relations, recruitment, talent management, and organisational culture. Ideally, with a proven track record in managing or supporting strategic HR projects.
- Deep expertise in employee relations and complex case management, encompassing disciplinary actions, investigations, and grievance resolution.
- Strong ability to engage with managers and employees at all levels, demonstrating excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- Proven capacity to prioritise tasks effectively and meet deadlines consistently.
- Detail-oriented with a strong ability to interpret data for informed business decision-making.

- Relevant qualifications in HRM or Industrial Relations, or equivalent professional experience.
