Position: Human Resources (HR) Manager
Location: Brunswick Heads, NSW - Hybrid
Hours: Casual, flexible working hours
Remuneration: Competitive hourly rate, negotiable depending on experience, plus 11.5% superannuation. Salary packaging options up to $15,900 p.a. to increase take home pay.

Re Forest Now is an environmental charity that has seen rapid growth since its inception in 2018. Now with over 50 employees from diverse backgrounds, we are driven by a shared vision for the future. We are seeking an empathetic and experienced HR professional to provide essential support to our team and help improve our workplace culture.
The Role
As our HR Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

Employee Relations: Offering guidance on employee relations matters, resolving conflicts, and ensuring workplace compliance with policies.
Disciplinary Actions: Implementing fair and consistent measures to address unacceptable behaviour.
Workplace Culture: Playing a vital role in fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for all employees.
Employee Support: Meeting with and assisting staff with HR-related inquiries and providing ongoing support.
Performance Management: Collaborating with managers during performance reviews, delivering constructive feedback, and addressing performance concerns.
Training & Development: Organising staff training programs, workshops, and opportunities for professional growth.
Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate, up-to-date and confidential records of incidents, conflicts, and other HR-related matters.

What We’re Looking For

Previous HR experience or relevant qualification.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster trust, collaboration and understanding.
Strong ability to navigate, mediate and resolve conflicts effectively. Be able to identify and address key issues and root causes in conflicts.
Proven track record of implementing initiatives that improve workplace culture.
Understanding and appreciation of diversity in the workplace.
A genuine passion for our mission, with a desire to create a harmonious workplace where all staff are fully-engaged, happy and productive.
