We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeeper to join our team and help maintain our high standards of cleanliness and comfort.
Position Overview
As a Housekeeper at Maylands Lodge, you will play a vital role in ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standard. You will be responsible for providing a clean, safe, and inviting environment for our guests, contributing to their overall experience during their stay.
Key Responsibilities

Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to hotel standards.
Make beds, replace linens, towels, and guest amenities as needed.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces to ensure rooms are neat and well-presented.
Replenish room supplies and ensure all items are stocked and organized.
Report any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items to the management team.
Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are stored and maintained properly.
Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with guests.
Follow health and safety protocols to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens.
Work efficiently to meet daily room turnover goals without compromising quality.

Qualifications & Requirements

Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good time management and organisational skills.
Ability to lift and move heavy items (such as linens and cleaning supplies) as required.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and various shifts as needed.
A positive attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure guest satisfaction.
