As a home care worker, you'll help older Australians maintain their independence and live at home for longer. Your personalised care and empathetic companionship will truly make a positive impact on their lives.
We have multiple Permanent Part Time positions for experienced aged care workers available in the Canberra, Queanbeyan and surrounding suburbs!
Your day will look like:
- Domestic Assistance including cleaning and cooking or meal preparation
- Personal care including getting them up, showering and dressing
- Driving clients to medical appointments or taking them shopping
- Providing social support and community engagement
- Providing complex care and medication management

What we look for in an Aged Care Worker:
- A big heart, empathy and a passion for supporting older Australians to live their best life
- Driver’s licence and a fully insured car
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent.
- Current First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Current flu vaccine (or willing to obtain)
- Willingness to complete medication assistance and insulin cert
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Resilience and ability to work independently
- You're available to work at least 3 days a week - we offer both midweek and weekend shifts to suit your lifestyle
