With a focus on excellence, we are now looking for a highly motivated and experienced Group Bottleshop Manager to oversee our three bottleshops operations, manage group purchasing, and drive strategic growth.
Description: About the Role:
As the Group Bottleshop Manager you will have responsibility of overseeing the operations of our three bottleshops, ensuring efficient and effective management across all locations. This role will also be responsible for group purchasing, managing the centralized Point of Sale (POS) system, and leading initiatives to expand and improve the bottleshop offerings. The ideal candidate will bring leadership experience, a deep understanding of retail beverage operations, and a strong focus on achieving business objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Manage Bottleshops: Oversee the day-to-day operations of three bottleshops, ensuring consistency in service, quality, customer satisfaction & contractual compliance
Group Purchasing: Take the lead on group purchasing alongside Group General Manager, negotiating supplier agreements, optimizing stock levels, and driving cost efficiencies across all locations & including on premise opportunities
Centralized POS Management: Administer and maintain the centralized POS system to ensure smooth operation, data accuracy, and seamless transactional processing.
Strategic Growth: Lead efforts to expand the core capabilities of the bottleshops, exploring opportunities for new product offerings, customer experiences, competitor analysis and operational improvements.
Team Leadership: Train, motivate, and manage store teams to deliver high-performance results and uphold the standards of the hospitality group.
Financial Performance: Monitor financial performance of the bottleshops, setting and achieving revenue and profitability goals.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a leadership role within the retail or hospitality industry, ideally managing multiple locations.
Strong knowledge of beverage retail, including wines, craft beers, and spirits.
Expertise in purchasing, supplier negotiations, and inventory management.
Experience managing POS systems and optimizing retail operations.
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams across different locations.
Ability to drive strategic growth and operational improvements.
Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and forecasting skills.
