As a Finance Officer, you will manage all financial aspects of our business unit. The Finance Officer will oversee on-site finance activities, ensuring accurate financial performance and reporting. Responsibilities:
- Provide support to ensure efficient processing of the organisations pay runs
- Ability to follow legislative and organisational policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate data to ensure payroll runs smoothly
- Maintain the payroll time and attendance systems
- Receive, process and file all documentation and ensure all processes are undertaken with accuracy and meet the required business deadlines and payment schedules.
- Assist with other finance related duties as necessary
What will you bring?:
- Hospitality or Gaming finance experience is desirable but not essential.
- Demonstrated success in the development of relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Experience with payroll delivery across multiple locations and industrial instruments
- An understanding of and demonstrated commitment to principles of confidentiality and privacy.
- Knowledge of legislative requirements in respect of Payroll, PAYG, FBT, payroll tax and superannuation.
- Sound understanding of Industrial Relations Legislation and ability to interpret Award/Enterprise Agreements.
- Ability to both extract reports from Payroll Systems, analyse and report on findings.
- Problem solving skills to assist with the development of robust solutions to system functionality issues and gaps.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Human Force is desirable
