The Opportunity

Working in a motivated team, you’ll work with our commercial finance team which provide a range of support services to reach operational goals. In your day-to-day activities, you’ll be assisting with the preparation and review of weekly and monthly financial and management reports. This role will work closely with the National Finance Manager and partner with internal and external stakeholders.

This is a permanent full-time role based in our office in Chullora, Sydney.

What you'll be responsible for

Undertake financial analysis & variance reporting
Understand operational reasons contributing to performance
Assist in ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are accurate, complete and meet accounting standards
Assist in the development of management & compliance reporting
Undertake management reporting and support budget process
Maintain effective working relationships with personnel in the team and in other departments
Finalise the month end result with operation business partners and reporting manager
Review weekly contribution margin/contract profit margin
Over/under client cost reconciliation
Adhoc accounting tasks

What you'll need to be successful

Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Finance, or equivalent and significant accounting experience
CA or CPA qualified (or working toward completion)
Demonstrated experience within an accounting or financial analyst position with skills gained in a large and complex business
Experience with SAP, TM1 And Excel is an advantage
Experience in a fast paced commercial environment is preferable
