Purpose of Role: We are seeking an experienced Field Service Fitters to carry out scheduled maintenance, breakdown repairs, and shutdown work on pumps and centrifuges on various customer sites and in the Townsville workshop as required.

Tuesday to Thursday roster 12.6hr days

Overtime shifts with notice for shutdowns and other scheduled work

Work vehicle with full tooling provided

Accommodation provided when onsite and in Townsville

Servicing sites from West Mackay to Far North QLD
Key Responsibilities:
-
Complete repairs on critical equipment, including strip and assembly, drawing amendments and machine maintenance.

Carry out the maintenance and repair of products in accordance with the procedures detailed in the service centre quality manual, or the relevant maintenance manual.

Make recommendations for improvements to current products, services and procedures.

Ensure performance and quality of work is completed in a safe manner

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

Trade qualification in mechanical fitting or similar trade

Experience working on pumps and centrifuges

Well-developed written and verbal communication skills

High Risk Forklift ticket - preferred

Overhead crane & doggers ticket - highly desirable
-
Current drivers license required
-
Current QLD Coal Board medical - highly desirable
