What you will do
In the Editor role, you will:
- provide high-quality structural editing, content editing and proofreading to support the QCAA in publishing professional content with high levels of consistency and accuracy, in a variety of styles and formats and for a variety of audiences
- undertake a variety of concurrent projects and tasks at the direction of the Publishing Manager and in collaboration with stakeholders and clients to meet quality, financial and time specifications
- understand and apply the QCAA style and brand guidelines to ensure quality and consistency across the organisation
- use QCAA templates effectively and collaborate with the design team to ensure materials align with the QCAA style
- work collaboratively within and across small teams on dedicated projects when required
- build and maintain productive relationships with internal stakeholders and clients
- provide regular progress reports to the Publishing Manager on allocated work and the completion of work priorities, including the notification and escalation of issues as necessary
- contribute to a performance management and development culture by participating in two-way feedback discussions with the Publishing Manager, as well as undertaking other professional development activities as required.
