Are you an experienced ADAS-qualified diver seeking a rewarding leadership role? Join us at our stunning Hideaway Bay site as a Dive Supervisor.
The role
As a Dive Supervisor, you will ensure high safety standards and compliance with legislative requirements and Huon’s policies, guiding the team to maintain best practices in all dive operations. You will:

Lead and mentor dive crew, assisting with the induction and training of new team members.
Champion safety by identifying hazards and oversee dive operations to ensure they are conducted in compliance with Huon SOPs.
Conduct pre and post-dive briefings, communicating any restrictions or safety measures.
Perform various dive-related tasks, including net repairs, general maintenance, infrastructure inspections, and retrieval of mortalities.

Located at our Hideaway Bay site, this opportunity operates on a full-time basis with a 7 day on, 7 days off roster.

You can make sound decisions with proven experience in meeting tight deadlines and managing competing priorities.
You have demonstrated your ability to lead, develop, and motivate a team.
You can undertake the physically demanding requirements of this role in a safe manner.
You have a keen eye for detail and a proactive focus on continually looking to improve processes.

Qualifications

Certificate III in aquaculture (Diving)
ADAS Dive Supervisor qualification
A current Dive medical or ability to obtain.
Current First Aid and Oxygen Resuscitation Certificate.
A current and valid Driver’s licence.
