We provide required support in different settings, e.g. SIL, Respite, employment, and secured care. We are looking for support workers with experience working with challenging behavior and higher support needs participants living with ABI, Intellectual Disability, ASD, and Drug & Alcohol. What You Will Do:
Deliver quality support to our participants in an accommodation setting
Promote participants' choice and control in their daily activities
Follow behavior support plans to support participants living more independently
Assisting participants for community events, appointments, shopping, cleaning, cooking etc.
Assist our participants in achieving their goals
Have cultural competencies to deliver appropriate support
To be successful you must be:
Available to work on a 24/7 rotating roster
Must have at-least Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability or higher
Must have at-least one year of relevant experience
Must have a current first aid and CPR certificate
Possess a Current NT driving license
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Demonstrate a good understanding of the person-centered support approach or willingness to embrace this model of support
Be comfortable supporting participants with intellectual and physical disabilities, higher medical needs, and involvement with the justice system
Thrive in a team-based environment where we work together to support the well-being of our participants
