Our team is passionate about enhancing the quality of life for our clients, and we are looking for an empathetic and skilled Aged or Disabled Carer to join our team. Job Summary: As an Aged or Disabled Carer, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with daily living activities, fostering independence, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Your compassion, patience, and dedication will make a significant difference in the lives of those you care for. Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care to clients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Support clients with mobility and physical activities, promoting their independence.
Assist with meal preparation, medication management, and nutritional support.
Engage clients in conversation and activities that stimulate mental and emotional well-being.
Monitor clients’ health and report any changes to healthcare professionals and family members.
Maintain a clean and safe living environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
Build strong relationships with clients and their families to ensure their needs are met.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as an aged or disabled carer is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Relevant certifications or qualifications in aged care or disability support are an advantage.
Compassionate, patient, and respectful with a strong desire to help others.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
