We are looking for an enthusiastic, organized, positive minded conveyancing assistant to join our Merimbula office assisting across the company. This role will be varied interacting with a variety of staff and clients daily and offers a genuine opportunity for career growth. Tasks will include:
Opening and finalizing files including inputting data into client relationship software and electronic conveyancing settlement platform
Liaising with stakeholders such as: clients, real estate agents, financial institutions, government authorities via telephone, email and mail
Drafting letters and legal documents such as contracts
Ordering of statutory searches and certificates
Providing Conveyancing Quotations
Completing varied office duties such as the mail (collection and distribution), banking and cleaning.
To undertake this role, the following essential criteria will apply:
Demonstrated abilities to work in a very fast-paced corporate environment efficiently under pressure with very minimal mistakes
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Innate attention to detail and the ability to priortise multiple tasks
Competency to work individually as well as in a team environment
Strong Microsoft Office and Outlook skills
Ability to create relationships with and support all types of clients
Collaborate with the team to deliver innovative solutions to ensure the best outcome is achieved for each client
