About the role
MSS Secuity is looking for a contract manager for a permanent full-time opportunity to oversee the Magistrates Court of Tasmania, which encompasses 4 main locations Burnie, Devonport, Launceston and Hobart.
Reporting to the State Operations Manager this role requires someone with the ability to mentor others, display strong leadership, organisational, communication and customer service skills.
Your duties in the role will include but not limited to:

Leadership and Management: Leading and managing several Secuity Teams including recruitment, Induction, training and rostering.

Incident Management: Ensuring all incidents are reported through to the correct channels and incident investigations are conducted in line with company procedures.

Secuity Operations: Manage Secuity Operations and ensure all duties and audits are being conducted appropriately - This includes reporting and investigation breaches, communicating change of policy and risk mitigation strategies.

Training and Compliance: Ensure all staff are trained, licensed and maintained by records, by conducting regular training assessments and arrange specialised training as required.

Health and Safety Environment: Monitor compliance with Health and Safety Environment and Human Resource policies, oversee safety procedures and maintain audit records.

Reporting: Attend all scheduled meetings with stakeholders (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly or Adhoc) providing detailed monthly reports.
Skills & experience
-
Demonstrated experience in managing multiple sites and resolving Human Resource / Industrial Relations issues.

Strong Leadership skills with a business acumen

Sound knowledge in roster management and management of multiple teams

Competent in report writing, ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Current TAS Secuity license or ability to obtain.

Full driver's license
-
Working With Venerable People or ability to obtain.
