The Opportunity
An opportunity has become available for a Compliance Officer within the VENTORA Group, reporting directly to our Chief Legal Officer the purpose of the role will to be ensure the group adheres to all relevant regulations and company policies. In consultation with the Chief Legal Officer, this role will implement a comprehensive compliance framework overseeing areas such as contract management, supplier due diligence, and risk mitigation strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain a robust compliance framework
Monitor and ensure adherence to mandatory reporting
Conduct thorough due diligence on potential suppliers
Identify and mitigate potential compliance risks
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant Australian building codes, industry standards, and procurement regulations
Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure all purchases comply with established standards
Conduct training sessions for internal stakeholders on procurement compliance procedures
Maintain, update and roll out of template agreements in collaboration with cross functional stakeholders
Liaise with the Senior Leadership Team and external law firms regarding corporate secretarial matters
