Hours: This Position is part-time (0.5 FTE)
Location: Sonder Nuriootpa, with travel required to Sonder's Gawler site as required.

About the Role:
The Comorbidity Clinician will work as part of a Mental Health & Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) team to deliver focused psychological interventions for individuals with mental health and substance use disorders (comorbidity) in a primary care setting.
The Comorbidity Clinician will be responsible for:
- Providing clinical, integrated treatment services to individuals within the AIM team at Nuriootpa and Gawler (Willaston).
- Planning and implementing assessment and treatment services
- Liaison and consultation with Peer Practitioners, other Sonder AOD programs, General Practitioners, and other professional employees
- Participation in individual and group supervision, and attendance at team meetings and external meetings
- Group program development and implementation where appropriate and necessary
Experience Requirements:
- A minimum 2 years supervised experience in the area of Mental Health and AOD
- A minimum 2 years relevant professional development and or supervision.
- Experience in delivering cognitive behaviour therapy, recovery orientated interventions, harm minimisation interventions, and other evidence based mental health & AOD interventions.
- Experience in care coordination in a Mental Health and/or AOD setting
- Demonstrated experience working within a fast-paced environment;
Qualification and Other Requirements:
- Drivers Licence
- Current or willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
- Certificate IV Alcohol and Other Drugs
- A tertiary Qualification in health, welfare, social or behavioural science with demonstrated advanced practice experience or knowledge in the minimum core competencies form the CHCSS00093 Alcohol and Drug Skill Set
- Accreditation or eligible for accreditation as mental health clinician (eg. Registered or Clinical Psychologist, Accredited mental health Social Worker, or Clinical Registration PACFA)
- Current Child Safe Environments
