About Baptist Care Dorothy Henderson Lodge, Macquarie Park

Designed with a people-first approach, Dorothy Henderson Lodge is an inviting facility conveniently located on the Macquarie Park campus, and is home to a thriving community that supports you to live the life you want.

The Lodge provides 66 single rooms for residents, and 14 secure rooms for those who need higher level of dementia support. All of our rooms have en-suites, large built-in wardrobes, and easy access to communal areas.
Enjoy the convenience of an on-site hairdresser, podiatrist, physiotherapist, social outings, a well-resourced library, church services and many other benefits. Blessed with spacious sitting areas and lush, well-kept gardens, you will find plenty of space to sit back and put your feet up. Or, if you prefer to get out and about for the day, we have a full calendar of activities for you to get involved with – it’s entirely up to you.

About the role
As a Carer, you'll get to know your residents by supporting their choices, preferences and needs during your shifts. Permanent Part time positions available.
The Centre have a variety of shifts on offer which will be discussed during interview

Duties may include:

Assistance with a wide range of Person-Centered care in accordance with care plans
Assistance with medication
Simple wound dressing
Assistance with activities under supervision
Working with each resident to continue to do the things they love

Skills & experience

Previous experience as a Care Service Employee (desirable)
Transferrable skills in providing care and compassion to others
Certificate III in Individual Support is desirable or a willingness to obtain
