Industry-leading Graduate Program

• Two weeks of Graduate specific onboarding including a comprehensive introduction to community practice, the NDIS and life at Better Rehab
• A Supervisor to help you navigate all areas of working with Better Rehab, including your transition into fulltime work within your new office. They will also provide clinical support within the NDIS and your caseload
• Shadowing opportunities
• An i Phone and laptop as well as a designated therapy kit to ensure you are well equipped when working out in the community

About your new role

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Better Rehab, your day could include:

• Visiting NDIS participants, assessing their behaviours and needs, designing behaviour support plans and advocating on their behalf.
• Providing ongoing support and intervention aligned to the prescribed Behaviour Support Plans as well as recommendations for plan amendments.
• Undertake individual therapy or training sessions with participants and their families.
• Making a bigger difference to participants with a range of conditions aged 0 to 65, including complex care, intellectual disabilities, communication difficulties, mental health and behaviours of concern.
• Training and supporting providers and families to implement behaviour support plan strategies
• Collaborating with your multidisciplinary team
• Taking advantage of exceptional personal development opportunities

About you

• You are passionate about making a difference!
• You have tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling or Applied Behaviour Analysis with a graduation date in 2022 or 2023
• A willingness to learn and upskill in restrictive practices and the NDIS quality and safeguards commission framework'
• You embody Better Rehab’s values
• You have your own car and a valid driver’s license
• You can provide evidence of relevant rights to work as well as proof of COVID vaccinations
