We are looking for an experienced Bar Supervisor to join our team at Carlotta, to create unforgettable experiences for both our guests and crew.

This spring, restaurateur Chris Lucas will introduce Canberra to Carlotta, a brand-new concept in the heart of the nation's capital. Carlotta, a 120-seat Mediterranean restaurant, is set to celebrate the exceptional produce, wine, and talent of the region.

About the Opportunity:
We are looking for the industry’s best Bar Supervisor to join our opening team to deliver a best-in-class experience for both our guests and crew. You will ensure a high standard of service and bar operations.

Main Role Responsibilities:

• Ensure the delivery of exceptional guest service at all times during service periods
• Ensure adequate glassware & equipment are maintained at all times
• Ensure bar areas are clean and presentable at all times
• Responsible for the delivery of service related to Training and Development programs, including induction plans, buddy shifts, and any other service related training
• Address & resolve any bar-related issues and escalate to management as required
• Complete opening and/or closing duties as assigned, and ensure readiness of crew, equipment, stock, stations and floor for service

The Ideal Candidate Must Have:

• Experience as a Bar Supervisor or Head Bartender in a fast-paced venue
• Strong knowledge in cocktails, beer and spirits
• Experience with ordering and stocktake is advantageous
• Exceptional service skills and guest focused
• Adaptable and able to perform in high-pressured service periods
• Organisational and time management skills
• Exceptional communication and presentation
• Available and willing to work weekends, public holidays, opening and closing shifts
• A valid RSA certificate
