The role
In this role, you will be responsible for processing licensing applications and ensuring compliance with public health legislation. Key tasks include data entry, verifying application details, and managing databases to maintain data integrity. You'll also handle the approval of low-risk renewal applications, issue licence documentation, and process financial transactions related to applications, such as reconciling EFTPOS payments. Adherence to service quality standards and health and safety policies is essential to delivering high-quality and safe services.
Additionally, you will respond to telephone and email enquiries, providing advice to clients and prospective clients on licensing matters. You'll also manage document control systems, correspond with licensees regarding outstanding requests, and consult with internal teams for high-level queries. The role requires a customer-service mindset, contributing to a team-focused environment that prioritizes results and efficiency.

To succeed in this role, you should possess proven data entry skills with a strong attention to detail, as well as the ability to work efficiently and accurately. You must also have excellent time management abilities, enabling you to meet deadlines and manage your workload effectively.
