The role
The key purpose of this role is to provide operational and system support and maintenance to ensure that appropriate processing, practices, and procedures are being applied consistently across the Unit, while contributing to the timely and accurate delivery of accounts payable system objectives for management and stakeholders.
The successful person
You will have demonstrated:
- Demonstrated ability to provide strategic system support and identify improvements which enhance system service delivery.
- Knowledge of, or the ability to acquire knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and procedures applicable to the accounts payable function consistent with the Department of Health and other government agency directives.
- Proven ability to build and maintain appropriate relationships with team members, vendors and corporate divisions stakeholders.
- Effective communication skills, including written and oral communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills in a complex environment.
