We're looking for an energetic Administrative Assistant / Business Support Coordinator to be an integral member of our growing team. Based in our Darwin office, this position will see you enjoy a varied and busy role, and you will play a pivotal role in maintaining a welcoming and professional office environment and providing administration support more widely across our business groups within the Northern Australia Region. This role is crucial in fostering a positive experience for clients, employees, and guests, while supporting the day-to-day operational needs of our team. Working closely with the Northern Australia Business Support team, this diverse position has great variety and will see you involved in:
Office Support : Be the friendly face that welcomes and greets clients and visitors and other general office administration tasks to support the smooth functioning of our office.
Business Group Support : Provide administrative support to various business groups preparing documents such letters, proposals, reports and other administrative duties and tasks as required by the team.
Proposal (Bid) Support : Working with our Projects Managers to assist in preparing proposal submissions including completing tender schedules, collating staff CVs, documentation formatting, collating information and quality checks of documents in line with GHD's style guides.
Meeting Coordination / Local Office Activities : Organise local office activities and project meetings, including room bookings, catering, meeting presentations, agendas, and minute-taking.
What you will bring to the team:
Ideally you will have some experience in Office Administration, but entry level applications would also be considered.
Intermediate to Advanced MS Office skills in Outlook, Power Point, Excel and Word.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Professional attitude and positive work ethic.
